Nineveh Operations Command bloc Ahrar square to prevent demonstrations

Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The security forces in Nineveh blocked al-Ahrar square of central Mosul.

The reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) stated “Nineveh Operations Command blocked al-Ahrar square and prevented the demonstrators to enter it.”

Nineveh Governor, Athil al-Nijaifi, MPs, Faris al-Sinjari, and Mohammed Eqbal, of the Iraqiya Slate participated in the demonstrations that call the government to deploy the security forces out of the cities and release the prisoners.

Some mosques in Mosul called the prayers of Friday prayer to head to al-Ahrar square to protest over the deployment of the security forces inside the cities and to call for releasing the prisoners.
