Nusayif calls government to province final accounts of 2012
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called the government to provide the final accounts of 2012, stressing the of “Discussing them with flexibility in the parliament.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said ” The government provided the final accounts for the previous year, but it did not provide those of 2012 yet where the ministries have some of the budget left that must be provided as final accounts,” assuring that “Some of the investment projects in the ministries are not performed yet and the funds of those projects must be returned to the Finance Ministry.”
“Some MPs object providing the final accounts for this year,” she added, noting that “The government has to provide those accounts and they should be discussed with flexibility in the parliament.”
Earlier, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Ali al-Allaq, announced that the 2013 budget is sent to the parliament to be endorsed.
