Nusayif calls to contest UN’s decision over re-considering Iraqi-Kuwaiti borders

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called the Iraqi legal experts and academic figures to form a committee and contest the UN’s decision over re-considering the borders between Iraq and Kuwait.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday, she said “The Kuwaiti robbery to the Iraqi lands became clear and provokes Iraq where it is sponsored by the UN and we always warned from being silenced towards this issue.”

She stressed the necessity of “Forming a committee comprises the Iraqi legal experts, the academic figures and the chieftains to contest the decision of the UN over re-considering the borders between the two countries in addition to hold meetings to show the consequences of implementing this decision and the Kuwaiti procedures to possess the Iraqi lands.”
