Nusayif urges to sue KRG for confiscating military equipments of former regime

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Iraqiya Hurra Coalition called “The Government to sue the Kurdistani Regional Government for confiscating the military equipments of the former regime.”

She assured in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “There are evidences that some from KR seized equipments and vehicles of the former Iraqi Army that left them in various places during the war of 2003.”

“These equipments belong to the Federal Government and no right for any other side to seize them without getting the permission for the Government,” she added.

“The Federal Government must sue KRG to restore these equipments or to obtain compensations suitable to their value according to the law,” she concluded.
