Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament lifted its session till next Monday after reading some law drafts.

A statement by the media office of the parliament received by IraqiNews.com cited “The parliament voted in the session that was headed by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and attended by 175 MPs witnessed a vote on canceling Article 40 of 2010 budget law.”

“The parliament finished the first and second reading of five law drafts in addition to hosting the Health Minister,” the statement concluded.

A statement by the media office of the parliament received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “The session which was headed by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and attended by 181 MPs, was lifted.”

“The session witnessed the first and second reading of nine law projects listed within the session agenda,” the statement concluded.
