Preparations in Baghdad for demonstrations supporting Government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Some of the roads and bridges were blocked in central Baghdad on Saturday in preparations for demonstrations supporting Government.

The security forces blocked al-Jamhouriya and Sinak Bridges in central Baghdad to prepare for a demonstration to be launched at Tahreer Square in Baghdad al-Sharqi area.

The demonstration is supposed to support the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and reject the calls to cancel some laws like Article 4 of Anti-Terrorism Law or Justice and Accountability Law.

Security forces were deployed heavily and strict security measures were conducted to secure the demonstrations.
