President and VP nominations finalized by Kurdistan Alliance

(IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Alliance have reached a provisional agreement on the candidates for president and vice president of parliament. The Alliance confirmed that they will attend the next session of parliament.

The MP for the coalition, Vian Dakhil said, in an interview with IraqiNews.com, that: “The Kurdistan Alliance didn’t foil the first session of parliament yesterday. The verbal altercations and abuses by the State of Law Coalition led to the adjournment of the meeting,” pointing out that “the people become conscious of such accusations. ”

She added that “There is a provisional agreement on the nominations for the presidency and vice-presidency of parliament who are well-known figures for all”, stressing that “the Kurdistan Alliance will attend the next session of parliament and our candidates will be formally submitted for consideration by the next session.”
