Prolonging political crisis to next parliamentary term to harm political process, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Qais al-Shadhir stressed that prolonging the political crisis to the next parliamentary term will harm the political process.

Shadhir stated to IraqiNews.com that “We wish the planned National Meeting, in case of holding it, to resolve the political problems rather than prolonging them to the upcoming term of the Iraqi Parliament because they will lead to escalate the existing political crisis.”

“The Parliament will be able to settle the disputes only if the political sides prove eagerness and real intention to resolve them,” he added.
