PUK MP: We reject cancelation of Anti-Terrorism Law’s article 4

MP Adil Abdullah of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by the Iraqi President , Jalal Talabani, stressed “The PUK’s refusal to the cancelation of the article No. 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.

Abdullah told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We object the request to cancel the article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law because there are many terrorist prisoners who were captured according to this article deserve to be served the maximum punishment, but we are with the justice in applying this article.”

“The problem is not with this article or in some other laws related to the execution penalty but in its misapplication where many innocents were charged with terrorism and arrested unjustly,” he concluded.
