Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Maha al-Duri, of the al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, called the Iraqi people to call for their rights in the oil incomes rather than distributing them to the other countries.
She stated in a press conference “Earlier, the parliament endorsed the law draft of granting 25% of the oil incomes to the Iraqi people in 2012 budget, but the government prevent applying this law draft and granted 100,000 oil barrel to Jordan instead,” adding that “Iraq is in a terrible situation and needs a humanitarian help by others .”
“The sides that are ruling Iraq want to show another image about the situation of Iraq by showing that it is in a good situation and has no crises where some provinces were damaged due to the current rains.”
“Those sides want to cover their failure in running the country,” she concluded.
