Sadrist MP criticizes way of organizing celebration of IA Day

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Hasnawi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend criticized the way of organizing the celebration of the Iraqi Army Day presented by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The central celebration of the IA held on last Sunday was in the same hall that witnessed the announcement of the formation of the State of Law Coalition headed by Maliki where the same font and colors of the words were used in that announcement were used in the celebration.”

“This similarity shows that the IA is controlled by Maliki and it is also a dangerous and wrong message to the Iraqi people and the politicians where it was done by US and Israeli planning,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that a central celebration was conducted in the 92nd anniversary of the IA where the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki attended it.
