Sectarian sides behind offending tribal figures in Anbar, says Sadr

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, stressed that those who have sectarian affiliations and ill mentalities are behind offending the tribal figures in Anbar.

In response to a question by a group of tribal people concerning the offending chieftains in Anbar “I am not among those who are concerned about infiltrating the demonstrations by Qaeda and terrorists but I am afraid of the uncontrolled sectarian emotions erected due to the governmental policies and involving the public people in the disputes.”

“The organizers of the demonstrations must apologize for their brothers in southern Iraq for such offense,” he added.

“Let love, loyalty and unity be consolidated among the parts of our homeland as we used to follow the examples of the prophets in being generous towards the guests,” he concluded.

A number of chieftains from central and southern Iraq accused Qaeda and Baath elements of being behind offending them during their visit to Anbar on last Monday.
