Security Committee accuses Maliki’s office of ignoring it in dealing with security plans of PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Jumaa al-Matyoni, accused the security leaders, the office of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki in particular, of ignoring the Committee in dealing with the security plans of the special and general voting of the Provincial Councils elections that will be held on the 13th of April.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday, he said “The Security Committee did not review or discuss any security plan related to the PCs elections.”

“Talking about forging the special voting of the security forces is ruled out and it is just to create a mess,” he added, noting that “In case the forgery happens, it will be revealed to the public immediately because all the political parties are participating in the elections.”

Earlier, Maliki ordered to punish anyone forces the security elements to vote for any political bloc or figure.
