Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier of Energy Affairs, Hussien al-Shihristani, and the Special Representative of the Secretary General for Iraq, Martin Kobler, discussed “The UN role in relieving Iraq from the 7th Chapter of the UN Charter.
A statement by the Shihristani’s media office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Shihristani met Kobler at his office in Baghdad on Wednesday where they discussed the updates of the political process in the country.”
“Both sides reviewed the role of the UNAMI in conducting the elections of Kirkuk Provincial Council,” the statement concluded.
