Shihristani, UK delegation discuss mutual relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier of the Energy Affairs, Hussein al-Shihristani, and the British State Minister for the Trade and Investment, Steven Crane, discussed the bilateral relations and the exchange of the experiences in all the fields.

A statement by Shihristani’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday cited “Shihristani received Crane and the accompanying delegation in presence of the Head of the National Investment Committee, Sami al-Araji, where they discussed the mutual relations and the means of developing them.”

“Shihristani assured the readiness of Iraq to develop the financial sector in Iraq and provide the scholarships to the Iraqi students to Britain,” the statement added.

“Crane expressed the wish of the British government to develop some sectors in Iraq such as the Health, Energy and the Infrastructure,” the statement concluded.
