Shimmari: INA requests 18 months for J&A Committee to settle its files

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The spokesperson of the White bloc, Kadhim al-Shimmari, stated that the Iraqi National Alliance called for granting the Justice and Accountability Committee 18 months to settle its files, whereas the Iraqiya Slate called to reduce the period to be one year.

He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The negotiations between the INA and the IS regarding the disputed laws, have reached advanced stages.”

“The INA requested 18 months for the J&A Committee to settle its files, but the IS called to make it one year,” he added, noting that “the seriousness of the negotiations between the two sides shows that the crisis is about to be settled.”

The Five-side Committee tasked to discuss the demonstrators’ demands on last Sunday to discuss the demonstrators’ demands.
