Sihail, Japanese Ambassador to Iraq discuss Iraqi-Japanese bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Qusai al-Sihail, discussed with the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Masato Takaoka, the bilateral relations and the means to develop them.

Sihail’s media office reported on Wednesday “Both sides discussed during the meeting, the bilateral relations between both countries and the ways to reinforce the common cooperation in the economic, cultural and the commercial fields.”

Sihail stressed “the need to make use of the expertise of the advanced countries to invest the large commercial, economic and technologic potentials enjoyed by Iraq.”

“For his part, the Japanese Ambassador stressed his country’s keenness to enhance the mutual ties with Iraq and the cooperation in the issues that benefit both counties,” the statement added.
