Sihail urges UNAMI to play vital role in settling disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker, Qusay al-Sihail, urged “The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq UNAMI to play more effective role in settling the disputes that Iraq suffers from.”

A statement by Sihail’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Sihail received a delegation from the Office of the Constitutional Support of UNAMI,” noting that “The two sides reviewed the future performance and projects of the UNAMI in addition to a number of law projects that will be endorsed by the parliament.”

“Sihail confirmed that the parliament will endorse a number of important laws that will serve the citizens and political process,” the statement added.

“The two sides tackled the political situation in Iraq and the Region,” the statement concluded.
