Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The first Deputy Speaker, Qusay al-Sihail, visited Karbala province to be acquainted with the services level in addition to the obstacles that hinder providing them during Muharam Hijri month.
A statement by Sihail’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday cited “Sihail met the Governor of Karbala, Amal il-Din al-Hir and MPs, Jawad al-Hasnawi, Riyadh Gharib and Foad al-Dorki, where he discussed the obstacles that hinder providing the services in the province.”
“Sihail stressed the necessity of increasing the security measures during Muharam month due to the increase of the pilgrims in addition to increase the services to bring success to the visit of the holy shrines,” the statement added.
The statement pointed out “Sihail pointed out that the parliament is ready to support Karbala province in all fields to provide the best services to the pilgrims.
“He announced forming a joint committee between his office and Karbala Provincial Council to reviewed those obstacles where a meeting will be held between Karbala PC and the specialized ministers to discuss the delayed projects,” the statement concluded.
