SLC MP calls to expedite criminalizing dissolved Baath Party

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed al-Nasiri of the State of Law Coalition called to speed up criminalizing the dissolved Baath Party in Iraq.

Nasiri stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Baath Party is a redline and it will never be reactivated in Iraq, urging to accelerate its criminalization as its remnants are still in Iraq where they are supported by regional countries especially by Gulf states.”

He added “I want to tell the Gulf countries that the dissolved Baath party did not and will not be rehabilitated once again in Iraq, and we are ready to struggle for that.”
