SLC MP criticizes attempts to pursue revolutionary approach against Iraqi regime

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Adil al-Maliki of the State of Law Coalition expressed surprise towards pursuing revolutionary methods against the ruling regime in Iraq, noting that “The regime came according to the ballot boxes.”

MP Maliki stated to Iraqi News “Each country has its own Specificities in any issue such as in the state running, demonstration, etc, so it is not possible to copy the experience of any country in other country as there are differences in the religion, communities, sects, and the nature of the reign.”

Regrettably, the demonstrations in Iraq try to make their protests similar to the revolutions that took place in the region and the Arabic countries over the past two years,” he added.

He continued saying “Iraq is democratic country since ten years, consequently, it is impossible to pursue revolutionary approach in light of democratic regime.”
