SLC MP describes IS decision over boycotting parliament sessions as "unwise"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ihsan al-Awadi of the State of Law Coalition described the decision of the Iraqiya Slate over boycotting the Parliament regular sessions as “unwise”, noting “Their boycotting would hinder the endorsement of the important laws.”

Awadi stated to Iraqi News “The Iraqiya Slate since 2007 adopts the approach of boycotting the sessions of the parliament and the council of ministers,” stressing that “This manner will disturb the ratification of the crucial laws that directly touch the citizens’ livelihood.”

He confirmed that “The IS MPs feel embarrassed especially after the demonstrators stated that the MPs and ministers of the IS do not represent them, therefore those MPs resort to boycott the sessions of the parliament in an attempt to preserve their masses and their political presence.”

The IS has announced earlier this Saturday its boycotting to the Parliament regular sessions in case of not meeting the demonstrators’ demands.
