SLC MP: Talabani to release new initiative to settle political crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition stated that the President, Jalal Talabani, will release a new initiative to settle the political crisis in Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” The new initiative will include the call to hold the national meeting and the adherence to the reformation as the main principle in addition to settle all the crises according to the constitution and applying the former deals.”

“The new initiative will be based on two points, the first one is the call to hold the national meeting among the political bloc and the second point is that Talabani will be the only person who adopt this initiative,” he added.

“The first step of this intuitive will be by holding a meeting to the three presidencies then an expanded meeting to the main political figures to set the date of the national meeting,” he pointed out, assuring that “This initiative aims to settle all the tensions among the political blocs and make all the political blocs hold responsibility without foreign interferences.
