Taghyeer bloc about to draft law over protecting, organizing demonstrations, says MP
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Haval Quistani, of Taghyeer bloc assured that the bloc is about to draft a law for protecting and organizing demonstrations.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There must be a law to protect and organize the demonstrations.”
“The problems in Iraq are reflected negatively on the parliament,” he added.
“The heated debates inside the parliament are normal issue because MPs represent Iraqis and reflect their problems inside the parliament,” he concluded.
Earlier, the representative of the religious authority in Karbala province, Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalayi, called “To avoid any possible clashes to take place between the security forces and the demonstrators.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), Quistani said “The Religious Authority’s call is excellent and there must be a law to organize and protect the demonstrations.”
“The demonstrations should be peaceful and non-violent,” he mentioned.
“The demonstrations in Anbar are normal and public but the demonstrations in Baghdad are politicized to affect the other side,” he concluded.
