Talabani meets Barzani twice within week
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani will meet on this Monday, with President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, in Erbil city.
A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by Talabani cited that “It was scheduled that Talabani will meet with Barzani at the building of the PUK’s political office in Erbil.”
This meeting that gathers Talabani and Barzani is the second meeting within a week after the first meeting has been held on 20th, of current month.
This meeting comes in light of the developments of the political crisis and the tensions between the Federal Government and Kurdistan Region Government over forming Dijla Operations Command in the disputed areas.
