Talabani stresses necessity of increasing efforts to unify stances in political process

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, stressed the necessity of increasing the efforts to unify the stances in the political process and the participation in all the activities of the governmental institution.

A presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday cited “Talabani received a delegation of al-Fadhila Islamic Party headed by the Secretary General of the party, Hashim al-Hashimi, where he discussed with the delegation the stance of the FIP towards the political crisis and the means of settling it.”

“During the meeting, the two sides assured the necessity of conducting the patricidal dialogue among all the political blocs and adhering to the constitution with respect to the political deals,” the statement added.

“Talabani appreciated the congratulations of the delegation over the success of the medial operation that he has underwent for his knee in Germany,” the statement concluded.
