Talabani stresses necessity of unifying efforts to expand national understanding base

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, stressed the necessity of unifying the efforts of all the political blocs to expand the positive understanding base.

A presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “Talabani received a delegation of the Arabic Socialism Movement headed by the Secretary General of the Movement, Abdul alillah al-Nasrawi, where he discussed his communications and efforts to settle the political crisis in addition to the obstacles that hinder his efforts.”

“Talabni stated that the contribution of the efforts of the political blocs that are adherent to the future of Iraq, is a necessity of expand the national positive understanding base,” the statement added.

“The delegation acquainted Talabani with its stance over the latest political updates where Nasrawi referred to Talabani’s vital role in settling the disputes, assuring his support to Talabani’s efforts to achieve the progress to the political process,” the statement concluded.
