Talabani’s party: No alternative for the Shiite ally, Abadi has a corrective vision

(IraqiNews.com) Patriotic Union of Kurdistan led by former President Jalal Talabani confirmed on Saturday its commitment to the alliance with the Shiites, while stressing that there is no alternative to the Shiite ally, and pointed out that the prime minister Haider al-Abadi has a corrective vision.
President of the Union Bloc in the House of Representatives, Ala Talabani said in a TV statement followed by IraqiNews.com,” “We are sticking with Shiites and that is what we emphasize in all our statements and meetings,” stressing out that, “There is no alternative for the Shiite ally, but that does not mean non-alliance with others.”
Talabani added, “Through my work and meetings with Haider al-Abadi in the House of Representatives after he took office as prime minister, I can tell he has a corrective vision and it is important.”
