Turkey embassy to Iraq denies accusing Iraqi government of interfering in Turkish demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish embassy in Iraq, denied the news over the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu’s accusation to the Iraqi government of interfering in the current demonstrations in Turkey.

Some media outlets reported on last Tuesday that Davutoglu accused regional countries of supporting the demonstrations in Turkey due to Turkey’s supporting attitude to the oppressed people in their countries and that the Turkish anti-riot forces arrested a number of Iraqis and Syrians who are backed by their governments to supervise part of Turkey demonstrations.

The Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Younis Dimirar said “The Turkish FM did not signal, during a press conference, the issue of Turkey demonstrations and this news is groundless,” confirming “It seemed later on that the news outlet with which Davutoglu conducted the interview did not post such news.”

According to those news outlets reports, the Turkish FM called the Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouir al-Maliki to stop his support for the destructive sides that are working on ruining Turkey.
