Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry stressed in a statement “We vehemently condemn the suicide attack perpetrated near the city of Fallujah of Iraq which targeted Efan Sadoun al-Esawi, MP from Al-Iraqiya List. We wish God’s mercy upon him and our other Iraqi brothers who lost their lives in the attack and extend our condolences to their bereaved families.”

“The above-mentioned attack comes only two days after the bomb attack against the convoy of the Minister of Finance, Rafi al-Issawi, reveals that both of these attacks are the work of certain circles that target the unity and solidarity of the Iraqi people and aim to drag the country back into an atmosphere of fraternal fighting,” the statement continued.

“We believe that the friendly and brotherly Iraqi people, by exercising restraint in this critical period and acting in unity and serenity, will prevent these circles from reaching their objectives,” the statement added. “We hope that those responsible for these attacks will be identified and brought to justice as soon as possible and on this sad occasion we once again underline our determination to continue to be in solidarity with the brotherly Iraqi people in their fight against terrorism,” the statement concluded.

It is worth mentioning that MP, Efan al-Esawi has been assassinated on Tuesday by a suicide bombing in eastern Ramadi, capital of Anbar province.
