Turkish President, PM express readiness to treat Talabani in Turkey

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish President, Abdullah Gul, and the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, offered to treat the President, Jalal Talabani, in Turkey or in any other country.

The Turkish President sent message to Talabani in which, he said “I was shocked for the reports over admitting you to the hospital wishing you the speediest recovery.”

“I am here to confirm that your Excellency has a great elevated position for us,” he added.

For his part, Erdogan assured the readiness to send “An ambulance jet to Baghdad that could transport Talabani for treatment in Turkey or another country.”

He suggested that the Iraqis had not yet responded to the offer. “It is up to the Iraqi Government to decide,” he concluded.
