Urgent – ..Iraqi Cabinet approves 20/June date for Anbar, Nineveh’s local elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Council of Ministers approved during its regular session of Monday, on conducting the provincial elections for Nineveh and Anbar provinces on 20/June instead of 4th of next July as it was scheduled earlier.

Formal statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday reported that “the CoM approved the proposal of the Independent High Electoral Commission over identifying 20/June/2013 a date for conducting Nineveh and Anbar’s local elections.”
