URGENT – Maliki sets adopting National Reforms Proposal as condition to attend national meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, set the adoption of the National Reforms Proposal as a condition to attend the national meeting or any other meetings among the political blocs to solve the current crisis.

A statement by Maliki’s office quoted him while answering to a question by the journalists “Ready to attend any national meeting to solve the disputes according to the prepared proposal under the constitution.”

Over his stance over the proposal of the political reforms, he assured “I am supporting this proposal since it involved all other proposals presented till now.”

Earlier, the Iraqi National Alliance presented the Political Reforms Proposal to the political blocs to settle the current crisis.
