Urgent – Mustafa elected new head of IHEC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Commissioners Board of the Independent High Electoral Commission voted to elect Sarbest Mustafa as the new head of the IHEC.

The Media officer of the IHEC, Aziz al-Khaikani stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Wednesday “The Commissioners Board of IHEC elected Mustafa as the new head of the Commission and elected Kati’ al-Zawbai as his deputy.”

“The Board also nominated Muqdad al-Shirifi to be the head of the Electoral Administration and Wael al-Waeli as the Rapporteur of the Board,” Khaikani added.
