Urgent – Nijaifi agrees to grant holiday for Kurdish MPs on next Tuesday session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, agreed to grant a holiday for the Kurdish MPs on next Tuesday session due to Norouz Festival.

MP, Mihsin al-Sadoun, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated to IraqiNews.com “Nijaifi approved what the Kurdish blocs in the parliament called for over granting a holiday on next Tuesday session because it coincided with Norouz Festival.”

“The request submitted involves considering next Thursday as an official holiday and the preceding Wednesday allocated for a meeting among the parliamentary committees,” he concluded.
