Urgent – Peshmerga: Baghdad security delegation to arrive in Kurdistan Region on Wednesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Peshmerga Ministry within the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that it will hold meetings with the security delegation of the Federal Government in Erbil today where the two sides will sign the final agreement over running the security file in the disputed areas.

The head of the Media Department within the Peshmerga Ministry, Hilcord Hikmat, stated in a press statement received by (IraqiNews.com) “The military delegation of Baghdad has arrived to Erbil province to hold a meeting with the Kurdish officials over running the security file in the disputed areas.”

“The delegation is supposed to sign the final agreement with Kurdistan Region over running the security file in the disputed areas,” he added, noting that “The delegation was supposed to come to Erbil last Sunday but some reasons resulted in postponing its visit.”
