US Embassy condoles KA for Barzanchi’s death

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The US Embassy in Baghdad condoled the Kurdistani Alliance for the death of the former MP, Saadi al-Barzanchi, on Monday.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by IraqiNews.com cited “The US charge d’affaires sent a condolence message to the head of the KA bloc in the parliament.”

The statement quoted the US charge d’affaires as saying “On behalf of the US Embassy in Iraq, I express my sincere condolence for Barzanchi’s death, wishing you to convey our condolence to Barzanchi’s family.”

“The efforts of the late Barzanchi while writing the constitution will be a motivation to all those who aim to achieve the principles of freedom and democracy,” he concluded.
