USA: Kurds to participate in next Iraqi government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The United States of America assured that the Kurds will participate in the next Iraqi government.

The spokesperson of the US Department of State, Mary Harf, stated in a press statement “The Secretary of State, John Kerry, assured to the President of Kurdistan Region the US support to the unity of Iraq and the necessity of forming the next government before the first of July.”

“The Kurds assured that they will help in forming the next government and to bring the various views closer to settle the political and security crises in Iraq,” she added.

Regarding exporting the Iraqi oil from Kurdistan Region, she said “We do not support exporting the Iraqi oil from Kurdistan Region without the approval of the Central Government of Iraq.”
