White bloc: Turkey aims at copying Syrian situation in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc assured that Turkey aims at copying the Syrian situation in Iraq to divide it.

The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “It is shameful for Turkey to interfere in the Iraqi internal affairs,” noting that “Every country has internal affairs but we did not see Iraq interfering in the Turkish affairs because we respect the diplomatic norms.”

“The statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, of last Saturday aim at arousing sectarian sedition in Iraq to achieve Turkish agenda in Iraq,” he added.

“Turkish officials should stop launching such statements and interfering in the Iraqi affairs,” he concluded.

Turkey considered that the policy of the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, of marginalizing other political sides and Iraqi communities led to the crises and the tensions in Iraq.

Turkish News Agency quoted the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, as saying “Maliki’s policy in targeting the national figures in Iraq resulted in tension that could be turned into armed conflicts.”

“Targeting figure like the Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, and the Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi, who have honorable patriotic records then creating the disputes between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government increased the deterioration of the situation in Iraq,” he mentioned.
