Zibari, UK delegation discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zibari, discussed, on Wednesday, with the British Secretary of State for International Energy Affairs, Mark Simmonds, developing the bilateral relations between both countries in all fields.

A statement by the Ministry cited “Zibari received in Baghdad the UK Secretary of State in presence of the UK Ambassador to Iraq, Paul Simon, where Zibari called the British oil companies to take part in the investments in Iraq.”

“The conferees agreed on starting the activities of the mutual ministerial commission for economic and commercial cooperation between both countries to enhance the common ties in all domains,” the statement added.

“For his part, Simmons pointed out that the mutual ministerial commission will hold its meetings during next February in Baghdad,” the statement concluded.
