2014 Wasit budget ratified

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) The Provincial Council of Wasit province announced ratifying the 2014 Wasit budget divided on the projects and the districts in accordance with population density.The Head of Reconstruction Committee within Wasit Provincial Council, Muntazer al-Nua’mani, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The council held an urgent session in which the council ratified the budget of the province which reached IQD (226) billions.””The budget will be spent on projects of infrastructure and services,” the statement added, noting that ”The revenues of the petro-dollar allocations IQD (116) billions will be added to the budget of the province to reach IQD (382) billions.” ”The budget of 2014 exceeded the budget of 2013 by five billions while the revenues of the petro-dollar allocations hit IQD (116) billions in 2014 comparing to the revenues in 2013 which were IQD (17) billions,” the statement concluded. \END\
