CBI sales decline to $79 million in Tuesday auction

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The sales of the Central Bank of Iraq decline to $79 million on Tuesday after they were up over $87 million in last Monday foreign currency auction.
A statement by the CBI received by IraqiNews.com cited “The size of the sold dollars reached $79,650,000 at exchange rate of IQD1166 against each dollar and with participation of 23 banks.”
“The amount sold in cash amounted to $7,150,000 while the dollars that were sold as remittances were up to $72 million,” the statement added. /End/
