(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Iraqi Council of Ministers approved the allocation of 200 million U.S. dollars for the maintenance of electric power stations, in addition to purchasing fuel for its operation.

The Prime Minister’s information office said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Abadi presided over the regular session of the Council of Ministers, and a number of services issues had been discussed.”

The statement added, “The council approved the disbursement of 50 billion dinars for the maintenance of electric power stations, as well as securing the import of the necessary fuel quantities for its operation.”
