Delay in endorsing 2014 budget costs Iraq $6 billions, says official

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member, Hassan Ozman, of the Parliamentary Finance Committee announced that the delay in endorsing the 2014 Budget law draft costs Iraq about USD six millions monthly so far.Ozman reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The delay in endorsing the 2014 State Budget harmed the investment projects and the future plans in Iraq where the economy of Iraq will be damaged for several upcoming years.””The delay in endorsing the 2014 State Budget will be negatively reflected on the upcoming years where we lost opportunity in investing in 2014 which will hinder the development process in Iraq,” the statement concluded. \END\
