(IraqiNews.com) Dhi Qar – The governor of Dhi Qar Yahya Mohammed Baqir al-Nasseri announced on Monday, the start of digging two oilfields in Sabah field south of Nasiriyah, expecting the production of about 25,000 barrels per day at the end of the year, while noted to the presence of 117 oil wells that are in need of excavation work in the province.

Nasiri said in a statement to IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi drilling company recently began digging two oilfields in Sabah field south of Nasiriyah within its plan for the current year,” while expected the oil production to reach about 25,000 barrels per day Sabah field.
