(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Oil Ministry announced that that its crude oil exports for the month of February amounted to 72 million barrels and the revenues amounted to three billion dollars.

The spokesman for the Oil Ministry Assem Jihad said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The exported quantities of crude oil and the generated revenue for the month of February amounted to 72.7 million barrels,” noting that “The revenue amounted to three billion, four hundred and two million dollars.”

Jihad added, “The volume of oil exports and revenues from the southern port of Basra reached 64.2 million barrels and the revenues amounted to 2,942 billion dollars, while Kirkuk oil exports amounted to eight million and five hundred thousand barrels and the revenue amounted to four hundred and sixty million dollars.”

Jihad pointed out that, “The average selling price amounted $46.795 per barrel,” noting that, “The amounts above have been downloaded by the international oil companies that carry different nationalities.”

“Bad weather in the southern ports directly affected the process of loading oil tankers,” Jihad also said.
