Government permits owners of corrupted goods stored in Basra to re-export it abroad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Government decided to give the permission for the owners of corrupted goods stored in Basra port to re-export them aboard without charging them any fees for storing the goods.

The Council of Ministers reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Cabinet decided on its regular session on last Tuesday to allow the owners of the corrupted goods that stored in Basra ports to re-export their goods aboard without obtaining any fees from them for storing the goods, on one condition, which is to lift their goods and export them once again,” noting that “the stored goods included Sugar, tea and washing powder.”

The statement pointed out that ”The Council of Ministers decided that the Ministry of Finance should allocates the required funds for ministries whose implementation rate of its projects exceeded 70% based on the law article 23 of the Federal State Budget of 2012.”
