Iran to build 10 stations for compressed natural gas in Iraq

d22Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Project Manager of the Iranian National Company for Oil and its Derivatives, Amir Wakil Zada, announced the establishment of 10 stations for compressed natural gas (CNG) which is used as a fuel for cars in Iraq soon.

Zada indicated that there is a memorandum of understanding between Iran and Iraq on the export of technical and engineering services, in addition to the set up of stations for compressed gas in Iraq, noting that the company is fully prepared for the export of the pieces of equipments, which are used for the establishment of the stations.

Zada said that ”there are negotiations with Iraqi officials to build 10 stations for compressed natural gas in the country. The construction process will be supervised by the government or the private sector, in addition to the export of the Iranian gas to Iraq.
