Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Economic and Investment Parliamentary Committee, MP Nora al-Bijari, confirmed that “Iraq became (a recycle bin) for all bad imported goods,” attributing that, for “not applying the customs duties law and lack of protecting local productions.”She reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”Iraq did not witness any progress in the past years since the infrastructure is almost absent and the economic situation in freefall,” attributing that for “The security situation in Syria and the economic embargo imposed on Iran in addition to the poor relations with Turkey since most of goods were imported through these countries.”She pointed out ”The government has no specific economic strategy or policy in spite of the existence of the economic expertise, yet, it disappear in governmental posts and the adopted economic laws are old that do not suit current situation.” \
