(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Iraqi Oil Ministry announced on Tuesday, that the oil exports from the southern fields recorded 93 million and 500 thousand barrels in February, with total revenues of more than two billion dollars.

The Oil Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The final statistics released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) showed that the total oil exports from the southern ports recorded 93 million and 500 thousand barrels in February,” noting that, “The barrel price reached 24 dollars and 53 cents.”

Jihad added, “The exported oil quantities were uploaded by 36 international companies from the ports of Basra and Khor.”
